Cryotherapy Clinic
This is held every six weeks for the treatment of warts, verrucae, skin tags and other suitable skin marks. Before booking into this clinic you must see a GP who will assess if it is suitable for treatment in the clinic.
Family Planning/Emergency Contraception
A full range of family planning services are available. Please see any doctor in surgery in the usual way.

Dressings – Minor injuries – Immunisations – Travel advice – Cervical smears – Heart disease monitoring – General health checks – Blood pressure checks – Blood tests – Urine testing

PROMOTION CLINICS
The practice has a well
established health promotion programme. We have asthma, diabetic and
hypertension clinics amongst others. If you would like more details
of these clinics, please ask at reception.

Patients can see a midwife at the surgery on a Monday morning and a Wednesday afternoon

Family Planning Service is provided including emergency contraception.

We can give advice regarding immunizations for travel abroad please pick up an enquiry form at reception
CHILD
HEALTH
The Child Health Clinic
is held on Monday at 1.30pm when the doctor, health visitor and practice
nurse are here to give vaccinations, developmental checks and general
advice.
FLU
VACCINATIONS
Every autumn we recommend
that influenza vaccination should be given to all our patients with
diabetes, chronic heart, lung or kidney disease and elderly patients.
MINOR
SURGERY
Dr R Menon, Dr Shivamurthy and Dr N Rajagopal undertake minor surgery for the practice. Make an appointment to see one of them to check that surgery is suitable.
CERVICAL
SMEARS
Cervical smears can and
do save lives by the early detection of any abnormalities. This is
a quick and simple screening procedure. DON'T FORGET THE LIFE IT SAVES
COULD BE YOURS. Appointments can be made at reception.
